  • Nowaddays it's strictly forbidden to climb up the ancient Pagodas. Myanmar’s government banned the climbing of nearly all pagodas in february 2016, due to an organised dance party on one of the ancient pagodas. Furthermore, in 2017, a 20 year old american student, died after falling from the 20 foot Wuttanathaw Pagoda during sunrise.

  • Mingun Pahtodawgyi is an ancient unfinished huge stupa, located in the township of Sagaing. The construction began in 1790, under the rule of King Bodawpaya. According to "Wikipedia" -  It was not completed, due to an astrologer claiming that, once the temple was finished, the king would die. The completed stupa would have been the largest in the world at 150 metres (490 ft).

  • Kakku is set in Pa'O people's territory in Shan State. Usually, the journey starts by hiring a taxi in Taunggyi, the capital city of Shan State. On the way to Kakku you will pass many scenic Pa'O villages.

  • Until 2001 foreigners were not allowed to visit the Pagoda complex. Later the place was opened to foreign tourists, but you had to hire a local guide. Nowadays foreign tourists are free to travel to Kakku individually without a guide.

  • Pha Tam National Park is a national park in Ubon Ratchathani. According to "Wikipedia" -  Phou Xieng Thong National Protected Area in Laos is on the opposite side of the river. It is notable for its Dipterocarp forest cover and for extensive rock art on cliffs above the Mekong. The art is estimated to be 3,000 years old.

  • Between 1915 and 1917 World War 1 took place on the Dolomites. According to "Wikipedia" - the high peaks of the Dolomites range were an area of fierce mountain warfare. In order to protect their soldiers from enemy fire and the hostile alpine environment, both Austro-Hungarian and Italian military engineers constructed fighting tunnels which offered a degree of cover and allowed better logistics support.

  • According to "Wikipedia" -  The Patuxai was built during a turbulent period Lao history. It was built when Laos was a constitutional monarchy and was originally known simply as the "Anousavali" ("memory"), dedicated memory of the Laotian soldiers who died during World War II and the independence war from France in 1949.<br />

The monument was built using American funds and cement actually intended to build a new airport. The Royal Laotian Government instead built the monument, which earned it the nickname of the "vertical runway".

Common explanations of their sightings have been attributed to oarfish, elongated fish with red crests; however, these are exclusively marine and usually live at great depths. People in both Laos and Thailand attribute the naga fireballs phenomenon to these creatures.

  • According to "Wikipedia" - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market consists of a maze of narrow khlongs (canals), and can be navigated by boat. Female traders, often wearing traditional mo hom apparel (blue farmers' shirts) with wide-brimmed straw hats (ngob) use sampans (small wooden boats) to sell their wares, often produce that comes directly from farms. These boats are often full of vegetables and colorful fruits that are photogenic, and these images are used for tourism promotion. The market is often the busiest in the morning around 7 am to 9 am, and is active until noon.
