• After walking all the day, and before reaching our guesthouse, Marco and i
were invited by two locals of Tarkeghyang to take part on a Buddhist ceremony which would be held in the monastery late in the evening.
As we arrived in the monastery, monks and many locals were kneeing and preaching verses from long recangular Sutra books. We were invited to kneel down too. After a couple of hours we were the only tourists in the monastery and everytime we tried to stand up because of the pain in our legs, the locals made us signs to kneel down again. At the end we took also part to their dinner. Without a spoon nor a fork, we were sitting there like two clowns trying to eat with our fingers, causing the locals to laugh.
