Rediscovered in 1914, the site of Banteay Srei was enduring a lot of incidents until the APSARA Authority and the Swiss government declared to be in charge for the conservation and restoring maintenance from 2002 to 2005. Unfortunately the site is still subject to vandalism and theft.
